Before booking a trip with Sky Road Trail please read the terms and condition, cancellation and refund policy. When you book a trip you agree to the Terms and Conditions, cancellation and refund policy here within.

If you book a trip 65 days or less before the commencement date of the trip you must pay for the trip in full unless specified in writing by us.  From time to time we have different promotions and some of our agents also provide part payment offers closer to an event. Please discuss with us any specific payment schedule you may need.

From your first payment for any trip we withdraw a $95.00 non-refundable administration and booking charge.

For all bookings a tax invoice will be issued following your first payment which will outline any remaining balances and due dates.

Final and full payment is due 65 days before the commencement of the trip or at the time of booking. If a deposit is paid but the full price of the trip is not paid in full 65 days before the trip start date you have 14 days to come to a financial arrangement with us before we will consider the trip cancelled and no refunds will be offered. This will be considered a cancelation by you.

Cancellation and Refunds Policy

Cancellation of trip by You.
There are no refunds if you cancel your trip 65 days or less before the trip start date. We recommend participants purchase travel insurance which is a small cost to cover anything that may cause you to cancel a booking. Some credit cards or other products also offer insurance cover. Check with your issuing institution.

If you cancel your trip 66 days or more before the trip start date we will issue you with a non-refundable for cash credit note voucher. It is valid for two years but we are happy to extend them on request up to 14 days after their expiry date for six additional months.

Cancellation of the trip by Us - Control
If we cancel or postpone your trip at any time due to things that are in our control you can apply for a refund or credit voucher. We aim to pay refunds anytime between 7 days and 35 days of the trip start date. This is a guide only and refunds can take longer than 35 days.  Refunds will be processed as soon as possible but they can take time if we have to recover funds from suppliers. Refunds are subject to successful recovery of funds from suppliers. The non-refundable $95.00 administration and booking charge is not refunded.

How to apply for a refund.
To receive a refund send a request for a refund application form to info@skyroadtrail.com . We will then send you a simple form to fill out and apply for a refund. We will then check that all conditions are met for the issuing of a refund and advise you within 7 days the same. Processing of your refund then commences. For large ticketed events where over 50 ticketed participants are involved we will send the refund application form to you if we have your correct email addresss.

Do you have to apply for a refund?
There are a number of other options usually available instead of claiming a refund such as:
- the event is often re-scheduled to another date
- you can change to a different event and credit your paid ticket amount to the new event (any balance difference needs to be paid)
- you can request a credit voucher note and choose a different event when you are ready.

Cancellation of trip by Us – Not Controlled
If we cancel your trip due to anything that is completely out of the control of our business you have the choice of a refund minus the trip costs incurred up until the cancellation or we will issue you with a credit voucher for the full amount of the trip that can be used for any future trip we offer in Australia.  Anything out of our control includes pandemics, virus or bacterial or medical infections to our staff, suppliers, participants, any uncontrollable nature events such as a land slide, flooding, earthquake, rainfall, storms, tornado, cyclone, Government regulations, Government rules or law changes, any Act of God or Universe natural event or any significant event occurance or event that we have no control over that causes cancellation of the event. A credit voucher will be offered to participants in these circumstances. Any Government changes made after your contract is made will change the contract terms.

Travel Insurance
We recommend that all participants purchase travel insurance for trips including all the activities that will be provided on the trip and for all medical cover including virus and bacterial cover. Trips insurance is compulsory for some events and your insurance certificate will be requested to confirm. If you do not purchase insurance for trips any losses are your own liability.

Some trips are subject to minimum numbers. If minimum numbers apply it will be stated in the Event Information Sheet or in your invitation. If a trip is cancelled due to the minimum number not being reached, we will issue a full refund including the administration and booking charge.

When using a credit voucher note for a new trip you agree to the current terms and conditions at the commencement of the new trip. Once a credit voucher note is issued it will be considered  non-refundable after 7 days.

Trip Prices
The price paid for a trip may vary depending on market conditions, costs or resources, changes in costs at any time or discounting to sell additional places on the trip. The price you pay at the time of offer and contract is final. No changes to price paid is offered.

Hardship Applications
Hardship applications can be submitted. Refunds are not guaranteed except under consumer and Government law requirements. To apply for hardship please email info@skyroadtrail.com and request a hardship form.  A hardship form will be sent to you within 7 days. Please fill in your financial situation on the form and return to us. Submit hardship applications to info@skyroadtrail.com

Our agent site is https://rainforesthealth.com.au (Jameszon Pty Ltd) who sells tickets/Certificates only and receives a commission. Other agents may also sell tickets and certificates for us also.  Jameszon Pty Ltd also offers contracted finanacial and logistical services to Sky Road Trail.

The trip operator is Sky Road Trail Pty Ltd. The terms and conditions applicable to any trip booked is Sky Road Trail's terms and conditions as outlined herein.

Receipt Terms and Conditions
We are not always able to issue a receipt via some of our social media sites as there is no provision for issuing a receipt or to attach a receipt. Please advise your correct email address or a postal address so that we can provide a receipt to you. If we don't receive these details, we print and hold your receipt for you to pick up. You can choose to pick up the receipt at the start of your trip. In most cases we now require an email address to be provided to purchase trips.

What Information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form. 

 When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.  

Google, as a third party vendor, may use cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to you based on your visit to sites and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.  

What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:   

- To personalize your experience (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs)  

- To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)  

- To improve customer service (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs)  

- To process transactions   Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.  

- To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information? 

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.   

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.   After a transaction, your private information (credit cards and financial information etc.) will not be stored on our servers.  

We do not hold your credit card information.

Paypal is our preferred payment gateway system who handles your financial information. Please see Paypal's privacy information on their site to understand the very secure gateway they use and other information on how they handle your information.

Do we use cookies?

Yes Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information . 

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits, keep track of advertisements and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors.

These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.   If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone or by contacting customer service.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

If you have a phone number on your account it will be added to the order label on the front of the parcel we send to you for the delivery company to contact you if required. Do not leave you phone number on your account if you do not want it used in this way.

These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Online Privacy Protection Compliance

Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with Online Privacy Protection guidelines and regulations.

We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.  

All users of our site may make any changes to their information at anytime by logging into their control panel by selecting 'sign in' or 'my account'. Once signed in you can make changes to the information you have logged.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Compliance 

We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years old or older. If you are under 18 you should not use, browse or order from our website.
